Special Notes:
Children under 16 are exempted from the accompanying persons registration and are charged 50% for the banquet and the post-conference tour.
Participants directly associated with institutes or universities in developing countries will be eligible for a 50% reduction on the registration fee. In addition, developing country nationals who are currently guest researchers at institutes or universities in Europe, Japan, Korea, Australia, Canada, or the USA, and are affiliated with institutes in their home countries are eligible for a 25% reduction on the registration fee. Countries which are considered as "developing" are defined by the World Bank's most recent list of "low income" and "lower-middle income" countries.
Additionally, members of IUPAC(those who are not entitled to the abovementioned discounts) will receive a 10% reduction on their registration fees. As well, the deadline for abstract submission has been extended to the 15th of October 2004. For non-IUPAC members, the abstract submission deadline remains the 30th of September, 2004.
Information for Exhibitors:
Exhibitors fee includes one booth (3x3 meters), one full conference registration, identification sign, and quarter page b/w advertisement in the program provided to all attendees. Exhibitors will receive a registration package per booth and will be entitled to attend all scientific sessions. Additionally, corporate inserts will be included in the conference package. For each additional registration, the regular meeting registration rate for delegates will be charged (550 euro/person). Extra space can be bought at the cost of 200 euro/square meter.
A second option available for exhibitors is an exhibition table for 900 euros, which includes one full conference registration and listing in the program provided to all attendees.
Exhibitors are offered the opportunity to place an advertisement in the abstract book provided to all attendees for 300 euro (full page) or for 150 euro (half page) black and white advertisement. Color advertisements may also be made available..
