Shivaraman Ramaswamy

Shivaraman Ramaswamy is currently in his senior year of his Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, India. His venture into nano-technology was mentored by Prof.Seth Goldstein who he worked with when he visited at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh as a special transfer student. He holds the title of Junior Researcher at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. His research interests include application of nano-technology for Civil Applications, Drug Delivery, Storage devices and Robotics. His other interests include Neural Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Genetic Algorithms and Non-Euclidean Geometry. He also has done research projects at Institutes such as Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMSc) and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras. He has eight international conferences to his credit and three publications under review. He and his research partner Mr.Ojas Mahapatra have worked on many inter-disciplinary projects including Earthquake Negation, Targeted and Sustained Drug Delivery, Extraction and Purification of Tetrodotoxin, Brain Computer Interfacing to name a few.
