Yue-Min Wan studied physics (1979-1983) at the National Taiwan University, Taipei,
Taiwan, and in 1995 he obtained his Ph.D. from the Physics department of Ohio-State
University in Columbus, USA.
Experience : Postdoctor (1995 –1996), National Tsing-Hua University, Hsinchu,
Taiwan,; Group Leader (1996 –2000) at the Microsystem Laboratory of Industrial
Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Hsinchu,; Assistant (2000 –2003) and
Associate Professor (2004 –present) in the department of Electronic Engineering at
I-Shou University, Kaoshiung.
Research Fields : Nanoelectronic devices, Microsensors, and High Tc materials.
Yue-Min Wan is also the recipient of several awards including the best patent in ITRI
in 1999 –2000. He is a member of the American Physical Society.
